OMG!

I can't belive it's about to be a whole new year,ALOT has happened this past year,i quit my crap job and went to work for myself,my mom died,the whole prop 8 ordeal,the quickly sinking economy,though we did get a new president,Bush is out!Hopefully this new guy will be better.I'm not making resolutions this year,i never keep them,ever! But i will try to do what i can to better my life and be as happy as i can,that's what i wish for everyone,is it that simple?

WOW

I can't believe Xmas is in 4 days,it seems like December just started,now it's almost over! As i have said b-4,Xmas is really a kid's holiday as well as families getting together,the last maybe 10 or 15 years have been really commercialized and it' seems like it's all about shopping for gifts and making sure everyone has enough.With the way the economy is i'm lucky to just have enough for my bills,maybe a little extra and i can afford to buy a little something for my family and close friends,nothing elaborate you understand.I, like my mother have always had a generous heart,i want everyone to have whatever they want,if i could afford it i would do it,but unfortunately can't.I'm at least spending Xmas with my closest family member and her family,i'm really glad for that.

COOL!

We went to a mini comic con. in Sac today,i found some more Wonder Woman comics,i only have a few more to get in the 200's then the rest is in the 100's,maybe like 30 or 40 and then i'll have the whole 1st series of WW,super-cool!!

XMAS!

So we got our tree,then we went to a huge antique show on Sunday and found all kinds of Jewelbrite ornaments that were very popular in the late 60's,so almost our whole tree is covered with them,it looks fab.We decorated a little outside,we decided not to go crazy,we're not that into Xmas this year.

BRRRR!!

Man,it's cold....and it's gonna get colder,i'm afraid to turn on the heater cuz it runs our bill up,It's already alot higher with Joe's brother here,i'd hate to see it with the heater added.We'll just have to bundle up to keep warm,my hands get the coldest,alot like ice.I hate winter,my fave time of the year is late spring,just before summer,soooo nice.It used to be Christmas time,but now that i'm almost 40,it doesnt appeal to me in the same way,it's more for kids,they get more excited,i remember those days.

So...today me and Joe went on sort of a double date with my clients who are now our friends,Christine has been telling me that her and her husband don't really have alot of friends due to their schedules and the fact they have 4 kids,so i told her we don't have friends either,my remaining friends i had from the city,well we just gave up on each other,so we decided to get together and hang out,so we went miniature golfing and out to dinner,i hadn't been m.golfing since i was like 24,soooooooooo long ago,it was kinda awkward at first but i really got into it and we all had a good time,then we went to eat at a place called Blue Frog in Fairfield,a little pricey but good,then we talked for about an hour about just random stuff,it was nice to actually get out of the house and away from the tv and talk to people! At least outside of work.So i think we may have found our new best friends,when we left the restaurant,we were talking about going to see the new Reese Witherspoon movie when it comes out,i have a feeling we just may get a social life around here,yay!

So,i don't know what to write about....nothing eventful has really happened lately,i've been pretty dead at work scraping by,at least i'm able to keep my bills paid.I can't believe this year is almost over,it's crazy to think about things like,in a couple months i will have been with my BF for 6 years,the longest relationship i've ever had(without breaking up every 5 minutes) hence my ex-BF.Do you ever feel like no matter what you have,you want more?I do.....all the time,little things,nothing dramatic,unless you count money that can be dramatic i think.Anyway,like i said,not much to write about but i felt like i needed to post something.

NEW

I started on a new blog (obviously)I felt like the other one was kinda limiting,at least on this one i can put up pics and they won't be cut in half,anyway i'll be writing on here from now on,y'all come back now....ya hear?
